16. sit in the front row at an Ohio State football game

YES PLEASE. I am a really huuuge Ohio State fan, and I have always wanted to do this!! The Buckeyes are the best team ever! It would be so cool to sit in the front row in a game! After Jim Tressel resigned, we did have some trouble, but if any of you didn't hear, we are getting a new coach, Urban Meyer! If you don't know who that is, if any of you guys can remember us ever playing the Gators (Florida, duh), remember how many times we lost to them? Yeah. Well, Urban Meyer was the coach for them. If you don't believe how good of a coach he is, maybe this will change your mind- he has a 104-23 game record. Pretty awesome, right? He not only coached Florida, but he also coached Bowling Green and Utah. Hopefully he'll turn around our streak of getting worse. I'm glad he's taking the place of Luke Fickell. did you see the loss to Michigan?!?! We have been beating them for a total of seven years, until this game, where we lost 40-34. That was so awful! Maybe with the help of Urban Meyer, we will never lose another game to them!

2. watch baby turtles hatch and run for the ocean

probably one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I have to see this someday

23. move up north

Here's something different- this item on my bucket list hasn't actually been done yet.. Of course, this is something that I want to do when I'm older. When I get out of highschool, I want to go to a college up north, like somewhere in New England. If I can't do that, then I plan to do it right when I get out of college. Why? Well, the answer is simple. It's not because I want to move away from my parents, or because there are better career opportunities or whatever, it's just because I hate the south with a burning passion. I hate almost everything about it, the heat, the constant sunny weather (yeah, I'm weird, I like the rain.), the accents, just the whole idea of the south. Oh, I also hate the stereotype of the southerners: accents, nascar, stupidity, farms. This all sounds kind of harsh, but It's not just that I hate the south, it's also that I love the north. Every time I visit family up there, I just wish that I could live there! Once we went up to Boston, and I fell in love with it. I liked the cold, the rain, the cities, the old buildings, and the fashion there. One thing's for sure: When I grow up, I'm not staying in Georgia.

The Buried Life

The Buried Life! Suuuch a good TV show. Helped me make my own bucket list

5. see Coldplay live

Ok, this has got to be one of the best, most awesome things I've ever done. Well, at least for me. If you don't know me, Coldplay is my favorite band ever. I got into them at about 6th grade and I've liked them ever since! I had wanted to see them in concert since I bought my first album by them, Parachutes. Of course, they had just come out with their new album, Viva la Vida, so they were just finishing their world tour. They even came to Georgia!! I was so mad that I missed the concert! So, flash forward to this year, and their new album, Mylo Xyloto, just came out. Over the summer, my parents bought me and my friend tickets to a concert called Music Midtown Festival. Guess who was headlining? You guessed it, Coldplay! I was soo pumped for this! Finally, after like, 4 years, I got to see them! Music Midtown was super fun, and they were great! I got to hear a bunch of songs on their new album that hadn't been released yet, I also saw the Black Keys there, and got into a new band called Young the Giant, who I'm going to see in March! I hope I get to see Coldplay again!

22. have a white Christmas

Since it's December, I've decided to talk about one of my favorite memories: having a white Christmas!! First of all, if you don't live in Georgia, you have no idea how exciting this was. The last time it snowed on Christmas in my town was 128 years ago! So this was kind of a big deal. The best thing about this snow was that it stuck and was actually a reasonable amount! Like, you could actually make a snowman with it. I know. HUGE deal. So, it started getting really icy on the road when we were driving back from my cousin's house around 8 o'clock on Christmas night. We got into my neighborhood which is pretty made up of only hills, and with all of this icy road business going one, that was not cool. We ended up having to park outside of the neighborhood next to the entrance on the grass, next to about 5 other cars. That Christmas night we walked the rest of the way home. Although it may seem tedious, having to walk about 3 miles of just straight hill in icy, snowy, freezing weather, it was actually pretty awesome. That Christmas night had to have been one of my favorite memories with my family, and I'll probably remember it for the rest of my life.

14. have a best friend from another country and keep in touch

in this particular bucket list item (now crossed out, yay!!) I actually met two people that are now very close friends of mine, who both live in different countries. I met them both at a camp that I help out with. well, actually, I just do everyone's dishes haha(: Well, Romain du Marais lives in France, and can play the guitar like a straight up boss. of course all the songs he knows for guitar are in french so I don't really understand them.. but that's not the point! the fact is, he's really cool and so nice! we hung out all the time the weeks I was at camp, and we still talk all the time! that year I also met a girl from Spain named Maria Noriega Rodriguez-Ponga. that's kind of a mouthful, so we all just called her Luz. I think that's kind of a weird name, but in Spain its a really common nickname. Her English wasn't fantastic because she was well, spanish, but it didn't matter. It actually was kind of funny to see her mess up all of her english words! she is probably one of the sweetest people I know, and we still talk! I miss both of these people like crazy, and I can't wait to see all of them next summer!
